Hah you act surprised. You're not the only one who can think of religious philosophies I probably have more time on my hands than the Mayans!

Heh that's exactly the kind of thing I said yesterday to the Jehova's Witnesses. If there is a God, he's probably given up and is just watching our bad drama pan out. I know that's what I'd be doing. Why spend your power on a race that either doesn't believe or is completely selfish. Even if this "God" being did stop all wars and things like that, you'd have a bunch of people saying "Science can explain that!" and others saying "Why didn't God do more?"

WRONG. By saying that they need to do "their best" to treat others well, then then a lot of people would be able to go to "heaven". I know that I wouldn't be one of them, I know I have deliberately gone out of my way to treat others badly at some point, but I know many who do their best to treat people kindly, fairly, respectfully. But humanities "best" doesn't mean "perfectly". Eventually someone is going to get hurt, offended, etc. And that isn't necessarily the other person's fault. They did their best did they not?

Of course. It's one of the oldest piece of literature, written by various different people, in different times, in different languages. It's since then been re-written and re-translated over and over again. There is no possible way that there's been some error somewhere along the way.
Not to mention, as you said, that people tend to choose which parts they want to follow and which they don't. Doesn't it say somewhere in the bible that there's no point worshipping in a chuch because the Holy Spirit can't be contained there or some shit like that?

The Mayan's really had a lot of time on thier hands for one, and two mankind has a tendency to misunderstand, and misinterpret things, just look at the bible, that says alot.
As for the devine, well lets just say we are to blame for the shit that goes on in this wolrd not the devine. he/she has a non interfeance policy that is in a zero tolerance, when in comes to us fucking up, not saying that we can be easily manipulated by darker forces only slightly, but I doubt they need to with the way mankind currently is. five bucks say they are laughing at tehy way we are fucking ourselves in the ass metaphorically speaking. mankind doesnt seem to know how take responsibility for thier actions, this is why we are fucked.
Heaven..... well th stictures for heaven, so many humans dont meet the requisists for it, cause the Roman Catholic Church has mankind beleiveing that in order to go to heaven they have to attend church convert and chastise any non christians, and so many other things that in truth the majority of current chrisitans, treat any body not of thier denomination of christianity as heatens, and beleive that they are hell bound, they act nice to a persons face, and then disrespect them after they are gone, they beleive they are right, and know everything to the brink of being closed minded.
if any one wants to get into heaven, all tehy have to do is follow thier beleifs, as long as they are not satanic, or worshiping the dark lords, and do thier best to treat every human with kindess, respect, without wanting anything in return. now name one human that has done that........ hell not even me. but we must also that unlike the dark one who would be unforgiving, the devine can be as long as you ask for forgiveness, and do your best to change for the better.
going to church has nothing to do with getting into heaven, hell half of what the church says has to do with getting into heaven. alot of the shit in the new testament, and some of it has be altered and changed through the centuries to suite their own beifit. would you not agree?
